Chris Balemi, Founder

Agvance started in 1987 when Waikato farmer and nutrition specialist Chris Balemi saw a gap for mineral blends that could be easily dosed through water systems and drenches. What began as a local idea quickly grew into a nationwide operation, still led by the Balemi family today.

Chris’s sons, Joel and Shaun now help lead the team of more than 40, with production sites in Te Awamutu and Rolleston. Together, they continue the same focus their father started with – practical, science-based nutrition that helps farmers get results.
