RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT – ACTIVE D
Shaun Balemi, ruminant nutritionist at Agvance, visits a farm and takes some bloods to see the impact of the Active D product. After 7 days of supplementation with Active D with freshly calved cows, the farmer feedback has been really good.
Active D helps to release more calcium in the cows in the early calving period, when their calcium requirements are right up there. It is a natural plant extract that helps to release more active vitamin D in the cow, which binds the osteoblasts to the bone that stimulates the release of calcium and phosphorus. The aim is to increase milk production and maximise cow health.
Follow us to see the next video that shows the results from the blood tests.
